Cosy mornings, Woodland walks & Style posts #LittleLoves

little loves

Is it really that time? I do love looking back on the week and picking out all the little loves but as we get closer to the festive period I am feeling quite overwhelmed by how much we have to do before we all finish mid December. We’ve had a mixed week here at life as our little family HQ – sadly some horrid person took a key to our family car and caused an incredible amount of damage, all before we were about to sell it. On a more positive note Lil G is powering through his school work and has been awarded the head teachers award again and best handwriting award. He is beaming with pride and I was left crying on the telephone when he called me on his way home to tell me all the details. He really does fill my mummy heart with so much joy.

There is a cosy feel to this weeks post and I am looking forward to many more like this. And so here are this week’s little loves…

Read…

I’ve had my head in the latest edition of Red on my lunch breaks this week. Oh my goodness I just love winter fashion. Look at that sparkle and shimmer, oh and those layers.

Watched…

Oh my goodness did you see Plant Earth II? I could listen to David Attenborough speak all day, he has the most outstanding voice. I also watched this little cutie exploring a new woodland area near to where we live. He just loves to find new places and I just love to watch him being five years old.

Heard…

I’ve been listening to the Izzy Bizu – White Tiger this week on replay. Such a happy, feel good song. Have you heard it?

Made…

We (or should I say Mr H) made one of Jamie Oliver’s Super Food recipes on Saturday evening. This is the Chinese steak & tofu stew and oh my goodness it was so tasty, a little spicy but delicious.

Wore…

I won’t lie I really look forward to planning my outfits on a weekend. I think with working full-time in an office there is rarely an outfit to be excited about on a week day other than a coat! And so here are my favourites from the weekend…

And lastly…

I decided over the weekend that I am going to start adding a little bit of fashion back into my blog. I love to share my outfits over on Instagram but since the start of the year I haven’t really written any dedicated posts, or at least frequent ones so I am restarting ‘My Style’ posts with this little one dedicated to my love of winter coats.

And lastly, lastly I am off to the theatre tonight to see Dirty Dancing. I am beyond excited. Have a lovely weekend little loves crew.

  1. Gorgeous post KA, your photos are beautiful. I really must up my game with my photography, my little loves this week was rather lazy on that front. Planet Earth II was truly mesmerising. I sat with Noo to watch it and we got so involved and cheered those poor little iguanas on, my husband found it hilarious listening to us from the other room!!
    Have a lovely weekend xx

  2. Life As Our Little Family

Aww thank you honey, your photos are fab. We were screaming at the TV, I’m going to watch it again with Lil G, I think it’s a great show for little ones to watch. I hope you’ve had a lovely weekend x

  3. I wish I had a eye for fashion. I’m still very much in the ‘chuck it on and hope for the best’ mum phase. I also loved Planet Earth II, such an incredible programme! Enjoy your weekend xx

I do love fashion, one of my favourite past times is looking through fashion mags and taking inspiration from the big brands. Plant Earth was fantastic wasn’t it x

  5. Franki ~ Wonderful Chaos

Oh my gosh that’s horrid that someone keyed your car! What is wrong with some people?
Loved this little round up of your week though, and your right, it does have a very cosy feel to it. Love both of those outfits too. X

Oh Franki we were devastated. It has cost a considerable amount of money to have it fixed as well. Have a great week x
