Today, I am so happy to share with you all my beautiful friend, Linda Wagner from Linda Wagner.net.

Isn’t she GORGEOUS!

I came across Linda’s website and blog over a year ago.  Her recipes, articles and her presence were absolutely refreshing and inspiring to me.   We started up a friendship thru comments on her blog and personal emails.  She is one of the reasons that I started my blog in the first place.  She made a comment that if I started a blog, she would read it.  I thought – “REALLY!”  So, I thought about it for a month and ventured out into the blogging world and it has been one of the BEST decisions of my life.  So, Linda!  Thank you for those words of inspiration and motivation.  I am doing something that I am passionate about!

Linda, also, does something that she is passionate about.  She has helped hundreds of people across the country achieve radiant, long lasting physical and emotional wellness.  Linda is an experienced and skilled Nutrition Coach who utilizes a holistic methodology to invigorate the mind, body, and spirit.  It is her passion to assist others in achieving their true, unlimited potential.  Linda has the unique ability of identifying root, underlying issues for both basic and complex nutritional concerns.  She is easy to talk with and very down to earth.   She assisted me with some health issues (such as Candida) back last Spring.  I was able to address the issue through nutrition, supplements and stress reduction and got those little buggers under control in my body.

Linda now lives a happy and healthy existence, however it wasn’t always that way.  Even as a competitive athlete following a mainstream ‘healthy diet’, she experienced what so many suffer from on a daily basis; weight fluctuation, fatigue, depression, anxiety, acne, frequent colds and flu, yo-yo dieting, disordered eating, loss of purpose, brain fog, insomnia, chronic pain, and a strong disconnection from myself.  Boy, does that sound familiar!?  She was following all of the so-called healthy eating guidelines and doing everything she was supposed to do.

Linda knew there was more to life and health and so begun her quest in a healthier lifestyle. Linda has trained extensively with some of the nation’s foremost PhD’s, Clinical Nutritionists, Biochemists, Athletic Coaches, and Sports Psychologists.

She has the same holistic methodology that I believe in and live also.  She does not believe in restriction, suffering, deprivation, counting calories, diet foods, excessive exercise, or trying to heal the body from the outside.  She believes in eating wholesome, delicious foods with abandon, having fun, feeling inspired, eating out, having a sense of purpose and passion, feeling EMPOWERED, confident and beautiful in your own skin!!

Linda says that each year just gets better and better.  Long gone are the days of counting calories, restricting & deprivation, yo-yo dieting, torturous work outs, frequent colds, emotional breakdowns, etc.  She LIVES life now and doesn’t obsess over it.   Linda wants to share her knowledge with you so that you too can enjoy the freedom that comes from true health.  She wants you to know what it feels like to glow, radiate, THRIVE, and SHINE from the inside out!

Linda and I also have another thing in common – passion for GREEN SMOOTHIES!!  Linda recently released a new ebook called GREEN SMOOTHIE DETOX.

Green Smoothie Detox

via Linda Wagner.net

In The Green Smoothie Detox ebook you will get specific, step by step instructions that are easy to follow, gentle on the system, and will produce amazing results! These delicious foods help to boost energy, reduce cravings, promote rapid weight loss and cleanse the body. Go over to her newly designed website: Linda Wagner.net  and check her out, along with her wonderful recipes and so much more.  I have probably tried all but a few of her recipes and they are ALL fantastic.  I hope you will enjoy her site as much as I do.  Visit her on Facebook, Twitter and more.

Thank you for your generous offer to share more of your knowledge to those looking to take their health to the next level, Linda!  Keep shining bright!  I love you!

  1. Great post about Linda! I just love her website too! I try and drink one green smoothie (at least) every day. They make me full, satisfied and craving free!! I would love to win a copy of her book as new ideas are always fantastic!! Great post, Kibby!!

  2. Hi Kibby and Linda,
Thank you for your post and for giving me back hope. I am new to this world of eating organic, raw and juicing. After tests and exams for a period of 4 years, the doctors could still not find what was wrong with me. A couple of months ago, I hit rock bottom: I stopped feeding myself as my body rejected everything. A friend told me exactly what I had and what I needed to do. She encouraged me to change my diet and do colonics. I was very skeptical and quite offended, but I was left with nothing else. So, I let her guide me as she herself went through the same experience the previous year. I am recovering and doing much better. I still have quite a long journey to go as the body heals at its own time. I seldom make juices and smoothies because I am new to all this “organic-eating raw food” world and don’t really know how and what to do. As I had to change my diet, I felt like I got hit by a truck! It felt like a baby who was learning how to walk for the first time. I would love to win Linda’s e-book so I can try the recipes and heal from inside. Then share them with my family and people whom I come into contact with. There is a great need of developping eating and living healthy lifestyles where I live, and I would really like to help some eat better and prevent others to experience what I have gone through.

    • Hi Susy,
What a beautiful and touching story. I must say that you are BLESSED with such a caring and loving friend to help you out and YOU being ready to take her hand towards better health for yourself. I highly recommend that you utilize the recipes here on my website (RECIPES) and on Linda’s site. Very healthy and cater towards gluten-free, sugar-free with the BEST ingredients. You don’t have to be ALL raw to enjoy the health benefits – choose wholesome, real food and have a healthy smoothie every day – it makes a HUGE difference in ones health. It won’t happen overnight, but with patience, love, and consistence on your part towards your body, it WILL HAPPEN. I’ve been there too and KNOW. Keep in touch.

  10. I started green smoothies and juicing after watching FAT, SICK AND NEARLY DEAD. I have been a little inconsistent lately, having gone through a major move to a new state, new job, revamping a life and making sure my kids and husband are all happy along the way. I would love a copy of this book as I like Linda on FB and thoroughly enjoy her insights and recipes. I think this book may be the kickstart I need to regain consistency with my healthy eating. Thanks for the opportunity!

    • Hi Betsy!
Life gets in the way sometimes but then we just hop back on the wagon and do our BEST. Feel free to check out my RECIPES page for more smoothie recipes and video tutorials. Linda has some great resources and recipes. Always go back to what you know that works for you and your body.

  11. I would love to win the book, I’m interested in reading the book b/c I’m a huge fan of Linda’s and am having trouble losing weight. This is month 3 and I haven’t even hit the 10 lbs. weight loss mark, which I thought I would surpass in the first month. I’m also interested in cleanses as I’ve been hearing about them a lot lately. Thanks!

    • Hi Robin!
This book is wonderful! Good luck! Just focus on your health and not the weight – it will follow when the body cleans up with healthy mindful eating. Check out my RECIPES page for more smoothie recipes and video tutorials.

  12. I have never tried a green smoothie yet, that’s why I’d love to win this incredible e-booki believe it would be a great source to start :) thank you

  13. Hi! I would love to have her book simply because I would like to have some variety with my smoothies. I discovered Linda on Pinterest when I saw a recipe for her green smoothie. It seemed so simple so I tried it and loved it. I began making my own varieties but it started to get a little boring with just the few recipes that I have. I’m beginning to make this a staple of my diet so the more options, the better.

    • Hi Kelli!
congratulations on making smoothies a part of your daily life. It is SO WORTH IT! Check out my RECIPES page for more smoothie recipes and video tutorials. Good luck!

  14. I would LOVE to win a copy of the ebook! Linda’s facebook page was one of the first health pages that I followed. Her posts are always inspiring and focus on enjoying the good stuff rather than depriving yourself. She’s personable, easy to relate to, and positive. I’m more of a Facebook stalker than a commenter, but hers is one of the pages I check regularly. I like that she uses “different” ingredients – ones that aren’t always mainstream (yet). Because of her, I cannot WAIT for our local farmers market to open up this spring! Thank you, Linda, for being a positive force in the health and nutrition world!
I do drink green smoothies now, but there are so many more I want to try. I’ve recently started putting ginger in mine, and I think I’m in love, so at the moment my favorite is anything with ginger!

    • Hi Cari!
Great to hear and so glad that you have gotten the “inspiration” bug to UP your health. I adore ginger in my smoothies too! Check out my RECIPES page for more smoothie recipes and video tutorials. Good luck!

  15. Hi Kibby, I just recently found Linda’s page on Facebook and have been following her posts since then:) A months ago I decided to change my lefestyle and the food I eat. I am currently on my last 3 days of Ultimate Reset plan from BeachBody. This plan showed me how yummy vegetables can be, on this plan I discovered food that I have never heard of before….. Like last night for dinner I had roasted fenel bulb lol I love green smoothies, for my last birthday I bought myself a present-Vitamix machine, and boy I love that thing! My favourite smoothie is the one with spinach, green apple, cucumber, orange, and a little bit of ginger root. After my Reset(which was 99 percent vegetarian), I am considering staying with that kind of diet. And the recipes from Linda’s book would be a huge help to me in my new journey to a healthier me:) Thank you so much for your consideration, can’t wait till March 15;)

    Oksana

    • Hi Oksana!

    • Hi Lizette!
You go CRAZY, girl! That sounds like a delightful smoothie. I’ve made one like that before and mix them up all the time to get different nutrients, vitamins, minerals and antioxidants out of each one for my body. Shake it up and good luck on drawing. :)

  19. Hey Linda and Kibby! I too have been a fan of Linda for over a year now and feel so inspired and invigorated by her healthy and delicious recipes and relentless encouragement to become happy, healthy individuals. Since discovering Linda, I’ve incorporating regular juicing into my diet (I believe I discovered Linda through The Daily Juice’s facebook site), I have become a member of a CSA farm in Austin, and have developed an overall healthier and clearer perspective on life and the importance of health. As a newly graduated nurse, I’m looking forward to being able to finally afford my own VitaMix and REALLY try out all those recipes Linda posts. I would love to win this ebook!

    • Hi Amber!
You are in a field of health that you could really make an impact on others just by mentioning to incorporate a green smoothie each day. You know you can get a reconditioned Vitamix for only $329 compared to the $449. It is basically brand new and you can do a 3 payment plan if desired. I have a reconditioned model and have never had a problem – it’s brand new basically. Go to my website for a link to purchase through and use coupon code for free shipping. It is totally worth it and will take your smoothies to a whole new level of amazingness and nutrient assimilation and absorption. Good luck! :)

  22. Also, my favorite green smoothie right now is: 1 bunch spinach, 1 frozen overripe banana, 1 handful blueberries, 1 Tbsp almond or nut butter, 1 c. almond milk, 1 squirt local honey. SO YUMMY! -amber

    • Hi Amber!
Your smoothie sounds wonderful! I like how you mention OVERRIPE banana. Exactly the way they are to be for best digestibility. good luck!

  23. Hello!! I would love to win the detox book, I have already tried many of Lindas recipes and smoothies, my favorite is the green one with 2 handfuls of spinach, banana, apple and cucumber. I recently went to the Doctor with some abdominal pain thinking for sure I had a kidney infection and when they ruled that out the Dr. ordered some xrays saying that I might have some backed up (you know what) I thought, theres no way!! I eat pretty decent I even drink the Rockin wellness shake with extra flaxseed so theres no way. Well xrays came back showing I was and all the Dr. sent me home with was a stool softner so then I thought I need to try even harder eating better and cut out red meats. So this lead me to want to do the 10 day detox cleanse from Lindas book instead of just buying a colon cleanser Id rather do it with healthy food. So please please please consider me!!! thank you for all the stuff you share!!

    • Hi Monica!
It’s true. Red meat is a huge bowel clogger – and even upping the fiber, one can still be clogged, constipated and congested in the large intestines and bowel. Colon hydrotherapy is THE BEST for this along with changing ones diet to more plant based items. You don’t have to cut out meat or dairy, just add MORE GREENS, fruits, veggies, water and HYDRATE! I’ve been eating this way for three years and have never felt better or eaten better. Feel free to check out some of my RECIPES page for tutorial videos and recipes that help cleanse and detoxify the body. Good luck! Keep in touch.

  24. Hi! I would love a copy of the green smoothie detox book because I’m gearing up for my first detox. The intellectual side of the process has been on my mind for a long time. I’m ready to go for the practical side. Thank you for offering me a chance to win and get started.

    • Hi Danyka!
You are welcome. Doing a green smoothie detox is something I love doing periodically. They are amazing and loads your body with nutrients and easy to incorporate. Good luck!

  25. I love green smoothies! I particularly like a blend of spinach, peaches, mango, banana…so good. I would like to win the ebook cause I could use a smoothie detox and I’m not sure where I’d start on my own. :)

  26. Hello! Today I bought my first blender. I did not invest so much in it, but it’s a beginning. I started juicing, now i moved to blending. I would really like to win the ebook and try all those yummy smoothies.

  27. I would love to win a copy of the green smoothie book! I started making smoothies about a year ago to aid in my digestion and overall health and am branching out to more holistic life choices (essential oils, natural cleaning products, clean eating, etc.) and am slowly integrating my entire family with me. I love trying new things and could use the help with other smoothie ideas for myself and my family.

  28. I have a green juice or smoothie every morning. I just bought some monster chard from an organic farm and it’s going in to the mix! Also, March 15th is my birthday…would love to win the book! Thanks!! -AMY

    • Hi Amy!
Happy EARLY Birthday! Monster chard is wonderful in a smoothie! I grow some of my own and love rotating the greens periodically. It makes an odd color but that doesn’t matter – it’s GOOD for me.

  29. I also read Linda’s blog, it’s great I love her recipes but the thing I love the most is her smoothies, I’ve been drinking the traditional green smoothie and sometimes I add it blueberries or strawberries for a little more taste and it is the most delicious thing in the world, I really hope I can get the e book I have wanted it for a long time but I can’t get it so… This is a. 31. I have been an “observer” of green smoothies and have read many testimonials and blogs at how lives have changed. I have tried a few, and have really enjoyed them. I have, however, allowed my family’s non-compliance opinions to discourage me from exploring them further. Well, today I decided that I am no longer going to do that … it’s time for me to be a participant in my own health, and a great way to begin is with green smoothies. The last one I had was with an apple, sweet potato, dates, cinnamon, baby romaine and cinnamon! It was really tasty. :) Cheers

    • Hi Gwen!
Good for you to listening to your self and not others. YOU are in control of your own health and I love your combination of ingredients. Sounds delightful.

  32. Two years ago while at work, the left side of my face became hot, painful, and numb. By the time I made it to the ER, I was sensitive to the light and face had swelled. At first they thought I had a stroke. But I was diagnosed with Trigeminal Neuralgia. I was put on strongs med that made me feel like a zombie. Until I found Linda’s site. I began to juice last year and change some of my eating habits. I can honestly say that I haven’t had any attacks and I do not take the meds anymore. I do not recommend anyone to quit taking their meds. But green juice has changed and saved my life. God said we are to live off the land. I have a long way to go but I am so excited about my new way of enlightening my taste buds.

    • Hi Kb!
I am glad to hear that you have changed your life around for the better. Good for you! We are all on our own journey and constantly evolving. Take it day to day and it just gets better and better. :)

I make green smoothies for my husband and a green juice for me everyday. My husbands favorite smoothie is carrot and lettuce juice blended with cacao, banana, dandy blend, and hemp seeds sprinkled on top. Not very green in color, but he loves it!
I am always looking for new smoothie recipes to make and would love to sample some of Linda Wagner’s recipes. 49. For a long time I was a fruit smoothie girl, then I started adding veggies and greens. One day as I was looking for tasty green smoothie recipes, I found Linda’s blog. After reading lots of great articles (way beyond green smoothies), I liked her on FB, so that I could follow along. She introduced me to juicing, and I bought one that she recommended. I love it! She has made smoothies and juicing much less intimidating for me. I would love the green smoothie e-book, because I can always use good recipes and I’m NOT great at improving my way through them! I love adding spinach to blackberries, blueberries, dark cherries and pineapple. Thanks for the opportunity to win this!

    • Hi Stacey!

  50. I would love to win a copy of Linda’s book as I’m a relative newbie to smoothies…I like the standard Almond Milk, spinach & banana. Other than that my experimental mixtures don’t always taste so great! I would love to have an assortment of recipies all in one spot so that I can try more of a variety!
    Thanks for the opportunity!

    • Hi Jessica!

  52. Hi Kibby,
I am a subscriber of Linda’s and have just recently starting juicing. After purchasing a juicer I have now added a vitamix to my wish list. :) I am interested in trying smoothies but have no idea where to begin. I’d love to have Linda’s book to help me on my way to living a healthier lifestyle and helping my husband and daughters do the same.

    Thank you!

  53. I don’t do smoothies or juicing yet, but I want to start and I know this book would be a huge Helmand motivator!

I am in a need of doing a juice feast but have to wait until I am not teaching due to having Chrons and SIBO. I think this book is just what I need to continue my health journey using things other than medication. I have learned to be my biggest advocate in my health journey and to find others like Linda and yourself who believe in this path as well. Thanks for all you do ladies!!!

  55. I would LOVE to win Linda’s book. (Besides being addicted to her blog) I want to get myself as clean/healthy as possible before starting a family. I want to be pro at it, give our children a healthy chance at life right from the start and pass the skills on to them. I have recently bought the NutriBullet and made a couple green drinks. Mostly spinach, blueberries, banana and raspberries….although those technically never turn out green…more purple

    • Hi Leah!
Yeah, mine turn out funny looking in color too but that doesn’t matter – the nutrition does! This is one of the BEST way to get it into diet and bodies. Get clean and you’ll have that family in no time. What an inspiration you are for wanting to be the healthiest for yourself to share it out with your family and teach your children. Praises to you!

  56. Linda has been a wonderful inspiration for me to become healthier. I green juice/or smoothie every day! Even after only one month my doctor says my lipids improved dramatically! I am diabetic and take a handful of meds daily. My goal is to be healthy and medication free.

Thank you for the nutritional info!!
    Jeanne

Three juice feasts later, I dropped the 20 pesky lbs that were bugging me, and I haven’t thought about my weight since. I make a juice or smoothie every day and love experimenting and discovering new recipes. I would LOVE a copy of this book. My favorite green juice is the kale mojito – kale/lime/mint/apple. Blended with avocado or banana with almond milk makes it a really fun smoothie.

  74. Hi Kibby! Hi Linda!
I recently bought my first juicer and so far it has been awesome! Aside from feeling great and trying new recipes, it has been really special sharing all of this new info with my mom and watching her health improve as well. We have been making a juice with carrots, spinach, apple and ginger that is really good (and making yummy carrot bread with the pulp, woohoo!) 76. hi kibby! i just found you through Linda’s facebook post. This is a wonderful blog. I make “green” smoothies, but they actually come out purple since I add POM juice and berries to a LOT of kale. Maybe it isn’t green enough. I often mess up the ratio and the color turns a very unappetizing color of brown. :\ Thanks for the kind giveaway!

    • Hi Sarah!
Oh, don’t worry! Some of my smoothies look brown (swiss chard leaves) or grey (purple kale leaves) but they are AMAZING and nutritious. I don’t care how pretty they are sometimes. :) As long as they FEED my body with nutrients, vitamins, minerals and antioxidants – that’s what matters. Feel free to check out my RECIPES page for healthy plant-based recipes, smoothie recipes and video tutorials. We are all here to support one another on our journey of health and wellness. 85. I found lindas website a year ago when I decided to take a break from trying to make a baby and concentrate on me. The hubs and I had been trying for 10 months and it just wasn’t happening. I was inspired by her juice detox and although I didn’t have a juicer, I blended and strained my fruit and veggie blends for 5 whole days. I was a little headachy, but looked and felt great besides. It must’ve been just what my body needed because we got pregnant weeks later. Although weight wise I’m doing great after having a baby, I just feel run down. Any new mom (or mom for that matter) knows how exhausting it is, and having just returned to work my body needs some good detoxing. I would love this ebook so I can feel better and be more “awake” for my beautiful new daughter.

Thanks for the chance to win

  99. Hi Kibby! I have been following Linda for a year or so now, and I’m so glad she introduced me to your blog as well! Linda has been a huge inspiration to me and her blog, recipes and ideas have honestly been life changing (I know that’s so cliche, but it’s true!). I’m a medical student, and I don’t have a lot of time to spend in the kitchen, but I believe that so much of our health is dependent upon our diet. What I’ve learned in medical school has only made it more obvious how important one’s diet is — we can prevent so many diseases like metabolic syndrome and diabetes and heart disease and avoid having to use medications, if we simply feed the body properly! I already drink green smoothies…my favorite is avocado, spinach, almond milk, a tiny bit of honey, and whatever antioxidants I can find in my cupboards (blueberries, goji, etc!). I also recommend trying amaranth in smoothies for some extra protein (it’s high in lysine, a particular amino acid)! I’d love to win Linda’s book to learn more about natural health — thanks, and you have a new follower as well!

    • Hi Danielle!
Welcome my dear! So good to hear from you and the information you talk about it here is so important and I agree with you whole-heartedly. 105. Hi Kibby and Linda, thanks for the chance to win Linda’s e-recipe book.
I would love a copy of the book because I know, after following Linda’s blog for almost 2 years now, that it will be filled with some amazing ideas. Linda is so inspiring.
Every morning I have a smoothie of unsweetened almond milk, spinach, chia seeds, ground flax, lime juice, frozen blueberries, half an apple and a piece of ginger.

  106. I’d like to win the E-Book because I am trying to show family & friends how easy and delicious it is to eat healthy & to improve ones health. I work with seniors whose health is already compromised, I know they would enjoy healthy smoothies, too many think it’s not doable for them, I want to show them how simple and beneficial it is.
I have green drinks every morning, my favorites are kale or spinach, frozen banana, pineapple, with ground flax seed and a bit of organic agave if needed but it’s usually not. My other favorite is the juice and meat of a whole pink grapefruit, the juice and meat of a blood orange, the juice and meat of 1 meyer lemon, a good spoonful of Greek yogurt, a few ice cubes and a touch of organic agave, again only if needed, you can add 1/2 banana too but I like the taste of the citrus……so yummy & refreshing.
I have so many favorites but these are my go to’s.
Many thanks for offering three lucky people a free E-Book ~

    • Hi Judy!
Smoothies are the best form of “do-able” in my opinion. You can’t get any easier for getting amazing nutrients, vitamins, minerals and antioxidants in the body in an easily digestible form that the body will assimilate NOW. Your smoothies sounds wonderful! Keep it up and shining bright!

  139. I get bad migraines, headaches nearly everyday and I have many stomach issues. I have been gaining weight and have been having trouble losing it. I came across her blog about a year ago and tried a few of the recipes but never really dove into the lifestyle. She recently did a juice cleanse which I decided to participate in. I could not believe how much it helped me!! I did it for 3 days and I could see improvements immediately. After the 3 days of juicing, I continued to juicing as a supplement. I have not had a headache or migraine since I started, I am having fewer stomach issues and I have lost weight. These are just to name a few of the improvements. I have gotten my parents, boyfriend and a few coworkers to start juicing. I recommend Linda’s site to everyone! We just bought our first Juicer tonight at GNC the Deluxe Juicer. We have been eating well for a while now but have been feeling like we need and want to do more and do better for ourselves. We will always occasionally cave and have the unhealthy meal out which turns to a unhealthy day, I am sick of the way I feel afterwards. I always feel so rewarded by fueling my body with good nutrients that I know Juicing is JUST what we need! My husband has very high cholesterol and hyper tension blood pressure it runs in his family. I want to make the change for our lives as well as being a great example to our son who is only 5 months old now but will be eating homemade foods before we know it! I can’t wait to go to the grocery store tomorrow to stock up on all the delicious veggies to start our new path of this healthy life style!
