RW GARCIA Tortilla Chip/ Dippers Review

I LOVE these chips!

I just had to say that first and foremost before I get into the details.

RW Garcia is a family owned and operated manufacturer of quality organic and all natural corn-based snack products since 1982.  We have been eating the RW Garcia Organic Blue Corn Chips – Non-GMO for several years now and LOVE them.  They are verified by the Non-GMO Project as meeting or exceeding GMO avoidance standards.  We can’t find these tortillas locally – the closest store is Harry’s in Marietta, GA (which is a 1.5 hour drive).  We usually buy several bags to tide us over till we go back and purchase more.  Now THAT’S how good a chip these are to us – and we have tried many.  Some are too salty, too thin (not good dipping), not good ingredients, too many ingredients (scary stuff), not organic, the list goes on.  I know it sounds picky, but I care about what goes into my body so it has to measure up to certain standards.  RW Garcia meets all the criteria and delivers a fantastic tasting chip.

I contacted the company to try out some of their other products and was delighted when I received a box in the mail from them.  Boy, were we EXCITED!  I immediately opened a bag of the dippers (3 seed veggie) and was in taste bud heaven.  Scott and I proceeded to open each one and sample by themselves – HOLY MOLY – WOW!  De-FREAKING-licious!!  The 3 Seed Curry Mango flavor was addictive and amazing with guacamole.  Through out the next several days, we paired them with different recipes that we frequently eat (RAW Spicy Zucchini Hummus, Guacamole, and salsa).  They all held up well to the guacamole test – sturdy and crisp.   Each one was SUPERB!

I was in HEAVEN with the tortillas with this gorgeous, tangy salsa that did a TANGO in my mouth – flavors galore!

Tortillas were delicious with my raw zucchini humus with a side of fresh sliced peppers.

The tortilla chips ABSOLUTELY ROCK with homemade guacamole. Me – mixing and mashing my most beloved green avocados with chopped onion, chopped cilantro, lemon juice, salt, pepper, mexican spice mix and a dash of Scott’s raw hot sauce – OH YEAH, baby!

Their special recipe tortilla chips and crackers are made from Stone ground and Organic Non-GMO corn, the seasonings contain NO additives or preservatives, all of the products are wheat free and most of them are gluten free.

Check them out on Facebook for coupons – that’s where I get mine.

I HIGHLY recommend these tortilla chips!  They are the ONLY ones that we choose to eat.   Give them a try.  I think you will be pleasantly surprised with them.

  1. Hi friend, John and I have these in our cupboard, the sad part is our local Safeway store only stocks like 6 bags at a time ! And they are gone fast. We really like them ! I’m happy to read your great review once again. They’ve never had but 2 flavor’s at Safeway either. I might be able to talk to them about stocking more of them. We need all the NON GMO we can get right ?

    • Hello, beautiful Debbie! So cool that you eat these too. I would definitely talk with the store manager or purchaser to get more quantities and flavor options! Yes, the MORE NON GMO the BETTER! XO

  2. I have a lot of stores around me – Whole Foods, Trader Joes, Wegmans, etc. and I have seen these at Whole Foods and Wegmans. I will try them, but I have to make sure I don’t make a meal out of them and “forget” to eat my salad. I did download your recipes for the salsa, guacamole and hummus…. they looked great! I made the ginger garlic tahini dressing and I love it.

    • Hi Marci! Just eat your salad first and then nibble on these guys! :) Be sure and download/print the coupon for them on their Facebook page. So glad you liked the dressing and you’ll really like the others too (salsa, guac. & hummus). Thanks for your support and look forward to hearing back from you on how you liked the chips. :)
